This is a performance-based certification that validates the ability to support users by ensuring secure and efficient access to the data they need—no matter what devices they’re using. It equips candidates with real-world skills needed to succeed in today’s diverse and mobile IT environments.


Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Hardware: Identify, use, and connect hardware components and devices, with broad knowledge of modern hardware required to support today’s remote workforce.
     
  • Operating Systems: Install and support Windows operating systems, including command-line tools and client support. Configure, image, and troubleshoot Mac OS, Chrome OS, Android, and Linux systems.
     
  • Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with PCs and mobile devices, including operating system errors, malware infections, and other common security problems.
     
  • Networking: Understand different types of networks and connections, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and small office/home office (SOHO) setups.
     
  • Troubleshooting: Effectively troubleshoot real-world hardware, software, and network problems to minimize downtime.
     
  • Security: Identify common security vulnerabilities and implement safeguards to protect devices and their network connections.
     
  • Mobile Devices: Install, configure, and support laptops and other mobile devices, ensuring application functionality and user connectivity.
     
  • Virtualization & Cloud Computing: Understand cloud computing principles and set up client-side virtualization environments.
